We know what we should be doing.
But for some reason we’re not doing it.
Even through we know the outcome will be favourable.

But what is is good for ?
I use every trick in the book mindset wise.
Just getting that extra edge in how you feel each day (ideally without the need for coffee!) can mean the difference between being more motivated versus less motivated - and the work you do when you're more motivated is clearly going to be better
Some work, some don't.
This is one that works.

I still to this day find it amazing that people know they are working too hard, they know they are literally doing everything in their business, and yet they still refuse to outsource it.
- they won't do it as well as I can
- I'm a perfectionist, it has to be perfect
At some point, you're going to to have to let go of some of the stuff in your business.
At some point you're going to reach a point where all this time consuming stuff needs to go to a 3rd party.
The only question is when.
Do you keep going, putting in the long hours, scheduling social media, creating images, editing videos - or do you just go 'here, you do it'.
Just this last week, on behalf of clients, we created a total of
- 126 images
- 36 videos
- wrote 2250 words for 3 seperate blogs
- created 2 brand new landing pages (both of which are taking payments and client oboard)
- 2 new websites
- fixed a clients broken website
- created 17 email follow ups for their email sequence
- scheduled countless social media posts
It's literally taken a team of 5 working 40 hour weeks to produce, edit, schedule, write, post, create all that stuff.
And yet we see people still trying to do THAT themselves.
Because it saves them a few quid.
And yet they still wonder why they have no time.
They still wonder why they can't grow their business.
And they still wonder why they're so damn exhausted all the time.
It's not even like what we do is rocket science (ok some of it is a bit like rocket science) - but mostly, it's just time consuming stuff.
Could you get your 15 year old neighbour to do it ?
Sure - if you want a 15 year old writing for your business and presenting it online for the world to see, and you have the time to train them up.
Or you can use us, where we have specific people for specific jobs, who just do that one thing for our clients.
If you want to try and outsource it - then take a look - £250 a month will get you all of the above and more
Or you can save yourself £250 a month, and keep doing all this time consuming stuff that gets few results.
The key in social media, is who can get noticed.
Social media isn't event the right name for it.
It should be called 'who can stand out the most in a sea of noise' - but that doesn't sound as exciting somehow.
Up your game, and get more content produced for you and stand out.
It's not 20lbs overweight
It's not struggling for money all the time
It's not being fearful about the future.
Being the best version of you requires dedication, belief and actions repeated daily.
Take my gym for example - I got to the stage in my weight where I was unhappy with it. So now I'm dealing with it.
It's hard fucking work. Every single day.
Chocolate, donuts, pizza, bread; all gone 🙁
Sitting around watching Netflix (mostly gone!)
And in it's place is salmon and eggs for breakfast (every breakfast) after my 30 minute cardio session.
Then it's into doing some work on my business.
Then it's into workout 2 at 12.30 pm, 4 days on and then a day of rest lifting heavy weights.
Does it hurt ? Yep.
Do I want to take the day off ? Yep
Do I really not want to go to the bloody gym ? Of course I don't.
Then, after that - I go and shoot basketball for an hour.
Yep - 3 workouts a day - the whole lot takes 3 hours.
4 days on, 1 day off.
That's dedication. That's routine. But is it getting results? Of course - how can it NOT ?
Routine - day in, day out.
In my business, writing long form copy such as this - do I want to do it ? Not always.
Do I get results from it ? Yep.
My social media engagement increases, I get more friend requests and people follow me without requesting friendship on Facebook.
Does that content then go out to my email list? Yep.
And does that get results? What do you think !
Day in, day out.
That's what gets the results.
That's what will lead you to being the best version of you, whatever that may be.

But doing your very best, and increasing the PROBABILITY that your business will work, will FAR OUTWEIGH not doing anything to put yourself into a position that will give you a chance at success because of the FEAR that holds you back.
Those that give up too soon.
That don't invest in their marketing; are the ones that will ultimately fail.
It's sad, but when I see people still in EXACTLY the same position they were in 2 years ago, because they were too scared to pull the trigger is frightening.
What the hell are they waiting for?
Make It Happen.
Go and do it. Make it work one way or another, kicking or screaming. Life or death.
Because we only get one life. And we don't want to get to the end of it thinking 'damn, I WISH I had done that'
You gotta give yourself the best probability that you will get what you want.
That takes hard work and taking calculated risks.
In other words, put yourself into a situation where you give yourself the best CHANCE for success, one that will increase the probabilities of WINNING.
Have I taken risks and had stuff not work ?
Of course I have. And I learned a lot along the way. I've failed forwards for the last 20 years.
But at least I found out for myself, rather than listening to someone else.
There has been lots of times I've been told I couldn't do something, and done it anyway.
"That won't work" they say.
And what they're saying is 'THEY couldn't do it'.
So I go and do it anyway, because I want to find out if it was just them that couldn't do it, or whether it can be done, it just needed me to do it.
And you know what?
95% of the time, I got it done.
And so can you.
You reach a point where you go 'I'm going to make this happen, no matter what' - and it's in that moment that your success begins.
It can be scary going it alone, we all know how that feels. And it's a lot less scary when you're with someone who has been down that path before.
What are you waiting for ?
They know they SHOULD be doing something, but the whole Facebook thing looks complicated as heck, and they've already spent money on Facebook Ads and got nothing in return.
So why bother right ?
But doing 'Facebook Ads' versus 'Getting Clients' are two completely different things.
And so because you ended up not getting the results you wanted, you end up not doing nothing of any consequence.
You're then in 'marketing purgatory' - you know what I mean, you know you SHOULD do something but you don't know WHAT, so you end up doing nothing.
Again. Another month goes by. And another. And then another.
And you're trying all sorts of different things only to get the same mediocre results.
So because I see this so often, over the last 12 weeks I've been developing what I call the 'Triple Threat Client Engine' or 'T3' as we call it in house.
You won't find this anywhere else, because it doesn't exist anywhere else.
Now, just imagine being able to focus back onto your customers while your marketing works on autopilot, bringing on the RIGHT type of customers week in, week out.
In short, this system audits, amplifies and accelerates your outreach to potential clients that are tightly targeted to your service. This is where our ' Triple Threat Client Engine kicks in.
Now, you could be a physio, a personal trainer, a Chiropractor, a restaurant - basically anybody who has the skills and extra capacity to take on more clients.
This works especially well for those with repeat clients.
Most service businesses usually have most of the systems in place, but what they don't have is enough clients to match that capacity (We call that equilibrium).
When we get a client past equilibrium, that's when we can then focus the business on staff training, time management and all that coaching stuff that gets you more time freedom.
But you can't get time freedom until you get your marketing right.
Not being at capacity drives business owners crazy, I mean, how many times have you seen the Personal Trainer at the Gym end up doing the hoovering because they're just not busy enough.
Crazy right ?
So if you have capacity in your business, and are ready to take on more clients throughout the next 12 weeks, then you should make contact.
But only do it if you have capacity for more clients, as were only looking for those who can handle a surge in business.
Look, if you haven't got a client acquisition system in place, then you're spending an unusually high amount of time trying to market your business instead of servicing your clients.
Shouldn't that be the other way around?

In the olden days (like 10 years ago!) most businesses used the Yellow Pages (remember them!) or Newspaper advertising to make people aware of their business.
How much has changed in such a short timescale.
But not that much has changed in the minds of business owners. You would have thought that with the advent of social media, they would literally be all over it.
Today you have 3 channels to promote your business through, and it still amazes me how little people actually do.
The 3 channels are of course, video, audio and text.
Every single time you create a video and upload it to YouTube, and then distribute it on social media, you're literally getting an advertisement for you, or business or your product or service FOR FREE.
Yet how many people actually do it ?
And when they do actually do it they do it so poorly nobody really pays attention. Shaky video folks .. stop it! (P.S. I'm guilty of this too but where possible use a gimbal to steady the footage)
Or even worse, they spend a lot of money on one great video thinking 'this is it' only for that one video to get 17 views and that's it. No likes, no comments.
Now 17 views as such isn't the problem. The problem is the single video. Or the single article. Or the single podcast (or in most business owners experience, zero videos, zero audio and zero articles).
Why would you NOT want to create more mini adverts for your business?
Heck, videos I did 5 years ago, that are still relevant to the market place, get re-used and posted on social media - and now, almost every video I do is one that I know in 5 years will still be relevant as it talks about STRATEGY and NOT tactics.
If you think tactics are the way you're going to win this battle, then you'll be wrong for a long time.
If you think you just need to know Instagram's magic algorithm, then you'll be struggling for quite some time too.
What you need to know is that video, articles and audio are here to stay and work out how to put those into your marketing mix of your business over the next 5 years.
This will extend your reach (ie the more people who know about you the easier it gets to close some business)
But most people don't plan for 5 years. Heck, most dont even plan for the next 30 days, they just show up and do whats in front of them that day, or the latest greatest idea that they try to rush and implement, instead of having a solid long term STRATEGY.
That's also why when people choose to work with me, we spend a LOT of time working on their strategy (This is usually done at my Villa in Spain, you should allocate some time to come along, its pretty awesome!).
This avoids people spending months worth of time working on something only to find out it didn't fit into their overall plan.
It's better to have a plan up front and execute the plan as well as you can.
In my business, we do whats important, what fits into our 5 year strategy and we perform according to that. This shaves years of trial and error off our goals, and it keeps us aligned to getting what we actually want.
The first step usually however with a 5 year plan is to increase your reach. This can take time to do. We didn't get to 13,000 Twitter followers over night, and the 13,000 LinkedIn connections took some time too.
But now we have built those connections, we can utilise them with the right content that's targeted to our core market (business owners who want more money but who also want more time freedom in their business - people just like you more than likely)
The tactics that we use for that will change over time, but the fact that we need to continually extend our reach doesn't change.
In some mediums we've been really good, and in others we've been terrible (Instagram for example we have, at the time of writing 1098 followers only, and it's something we're beginning to work on as Instagram becomes more popular)
How do you extend your reach ?
Create great content first - it's a bit of a catch 22 - the answer however is to create a LOT of good quality content that goes out, that reaches your existing audience who like and share it and also eventually gets out to a new audience too - that's how you will grow your reach.
You just need to bite the bullet and start creating content ONCE you have worked out the strategy you need.

What are you doing to extend your reach right now and create content ?
I see so many business owners working late into the night and early in the morning (as though it's some badge of honour) and although you may get some quick wins doing that, it's simply not sustainable for the longer term.
Not only are these longer days more tiring, they may make you irritable, put weight on, or you end up being so busy in your business that you forget to see whats important over whats urgent.
I mean, heck, it's all urgent right? Especially for those clients of yours with the loudest voices who demand you do their stuff first.
The longer term result, as well as burn out, is a business that NEEDS you to keep operating at that level in order for it to work. And THAT definitely isn't sustainable. You're not got a business, you've got yourself a prison sentence within those four walls of that business.
It feels like you're trapped in 'Entrepreneur Prison', and I certainly know how that feels, as I've been there myself in the distant past. Now, you still see me doing the fun things during the day when everyone else is busy working - and it's because we know how to automate our business accordingly.
Gary Vee of course loves the idea of 'Hustle', but you don't see him staying up late at night editing his own videos (I don't do that either), he has people to do the work for him (as do I).
And although Gary may work 16 hour days or so, it's really top level meetings, not doing the 'actual' work himself.
All said and done however, there are some things you can implement almost immediately that can have an immediate effect on your business.
Just imagine having a lie in for an extra hour, or having a 'date night' with your partner, or just NOT having to do the work because someone with a lot more experience is doing it for you (Like your Client Acquisition for example).
The changes that start quickly build up into a feeling of success as you begin to take control of your business.
You would no longer need to feel 'on demand' for your business. Your business should serve YOU, not the other way around - right now too many people are servants to their businesses demands and thats not why you started it in the first place Im guessing.
So what can you do ?
Firstly, decide at least one night per week to take off - and plan something nicer than just working instead. This could be going to the gym, or organising a date night with your partner once a week.
It could be meeting up with friends for a nice meal or going bowling or the cinema, anything to break up the work, work, work cycle and get your mind onto something else. (What's funny about this is that when you actually take a break, you get some cool, fresh ideas for your business that you wouldn't have had otherwise)
Then you need to take control over all of the tasks that you have lined up to do. This is a big one, as most people have no idea what the amount of work there is that needs doing. There is no list, other than some fragmented 'idea' about what needs doing. When it's like this it's virtually impossible to work out whats important versus whats urgent on that to do list. Then work out how long each task is going to take, and then populate your calendar with those tasks.
The number of clients I've had who have made this one simple change in their 'to do' list is huge - and it's fundamentally changed their lives. They're no longer putting out random fires in their business, but instead actually planning out their business for the next month or so with a clear vision of what tasks need to get done and what they will achieve from doing so.
Finally you need a method that will automate the Client Getting Process, so that you're not having to constantly put the work in to find more clients, but have an automated system that reaches out to your target market with a message that gets results. This is one of the many things we're good at working with our clients at, so drop a pm if you want to know more.

There's a difference between wealthy and rich.
The Rich keep on spending trying to look good and have high cashflow, but nothing left at the end of their month.
Wealthy folks however, have their money tied up in Assets - and those assets are the things that generates income.
But at the end of each month, it simply 'resets' itself and you have another month with yet more cashflow while having to do relatively little work.
Understanding this differentiation is vital to your financial freedom and sadly, most simply don't get it.
For example, if you're paying for that nice car out of 'earned' income - it means you have to keep working to pay for the car.
Whereas, if you can pay for your shiny new car out of 'asset income' - you don't have to keep working.

Most people fail at generating wealth for just three reasons.

He said to “never sell” which I find very appalling because why not?
Selling is good, sell to your heart’s content, especially for all those business-minded individuals.
Selling or making sales is the heart of any business, whether it'd be material, food, property or services, any businessman's endeavor is to sell which was why when Robert Allen said "never sell" it grasped my attention because it was outrageous, everyone should sell.
Aside from that, Robert Allen is a clever guy, however, I just find myself disagreeing.

In this video, I cover the 6 steps you need to implement to be a property sourcer.
1. Find the deal : You always need to be on the lookout for potential deals. There are various ways of finding property deals, including dropping leaflets, websites, advertising and so on. The key is in consistency, getting the wording right on the adverts and so on.
2. Qualify the deal : Is it really Below Market Value, or is it really just at market value. What works need doing on the property? What’s the rental value ?
3. Present the deal : You will need to ‘top and tail’ this deal into a format that is attractive and easily readable to your potential investors. So you need to create some form of .pdf that you can email out to people. In addition to this you will also need to provide a professional looking profile for you, as people buy from people they know, like and trust. Building your reputation is important. It can take 10 years to build and only a few seconds to ruin it. So build it well.
4. Build Your Investor List : You need a database of potential investors that can potentially buy that deal from you. Once you have this, any deal you come up with can be sold much quicker than finding the deal and then struggling to actually sell it. Building up a good list of potential purchasers is vital.
5. Become the Broker : If you don’t want to actually do the sourcing work, you can work with other property sourcers and help sell their deals, in return for part of the sourcing fee. This makes you the middle person – you will need 2 databases. The first database will be the people who source deals. The second database is the people who will buy the deal from you.
6. Legal Obligations : Are you aware of your legal obligations ? Are you acting as an Estate Agency ? If so, then you will need to abide by the requirements set down for all Estate Agents. Too many Property Sourcers get this wrong and do not comply with the law. It’s an important point.
