So it’s a crossfit thing – and Im going up in the amount of weight I’m shifting.
Whereas before, I was getting my workouts fully completed, today was an absolute washout.
I’m definitely lifting heavier, and then not finishing the entire workout – and I havent even gone up that much.
But in order to move forward as fast as possible, I need to lift heavier which means Im failing more.
And I hate it.
What’s the point in doing something if you’re going to fail.
When I played basketball, I couldnt see the point in playing unless Im playing to win (And I ALWAYS play to win … whatever it takes)
But also, this isn’t just a crossfit thing – I fail in other areas of my life too – and that’s difficult – but knowing what you’re capable of and going along to try and improve and do what you can without actually killing yourself in the process is always an interesting and never ending lesson to learn.
I just don’t like that process – but in order to move forward, sometimes, failure is the key to that improvement.
Shit innit 🙁
