You know business is a series of stop and starts. You get going and everything is running smoothly and then something comes and knocks you off your game. It happens consistently it seems.
It ruins your routines and you get out of flow until you get this shizzle sorted.
In the olden days (when Facebook was only available in black and white but just after the iwatch came out (the mark2)) - it would stop my marketing too.
These days however - it's all automated - all posts scheduled ready to go out, all images created and scheduled too - all podcasts replays re-done and ready to move, videos created and edited along with any new podcasts already recorded and scheduled to go out too.
So my marketing doesnt take a hit. Even when I run out of time to do content creation - we now have a back catalog of stuff we can keep on shipping out that drives traffic back to our website.
The single most important thing in my business (My lead generation) keeps on going for at LEAST the next 60 days.
Heck - if I died in a tragic helter skelter accident - you probably wouldn't know it for 60 days as it would look like I was still posting.
And those that did know it would be horrified to see my stuff still popping up 60 days after I'm gone, thinking I'd come back from the grave to post on Facebook, etc.
But the one thing that your business needs to be consistent on is your marketing.
That is : Multiple messages, in multiple formats across multiple channels.
Not just once a day, not just when you feel like it, but constantly throughout the day.
It takes a lot of work and effort when it's just you - but I literally tripled my website visitors BECAUSE of consistent marketing efforts.
