Wow – Hidemyass – which I used to use for hiding my IP address – automatically renewed my subscription and I didn’t realise.

This has to be one of the worst pieces of software ever written – hard to use, slows everything down and is bulky on my system.

I asked for a refund and they refused. I didn’t even know auto renew was in place.

Seriously – if you have to beat people over the head with automatic renewal for a piece of shoddy software – you can keep the £60 it cost, because you clearly need it more than I do.

Needless to say – I won’t be using them again, and would suggest you double check your automatic renewal notices too.

If you’re thinking about hiding your IP address – then i’m pretty sure that there are plenty of others to choose from.
