Weight Loss | I’m going to go through my FASTING PROTOCOL on Monday !

Hey Folks,
 
On MONDAY I’m going to go through my FASTING PROTOCOL – and show you how I lost 2.5KGs over the last 7 weeks, and 2.5″ off the waistline.
 
It’s a nice and sustainable way to lose weight, mega healthy for you and will get you some quick wins in time for summer!

My Weight Loss Journey (so far) PLUS Why I’m Never Eating Pizza Again (well, at least until next time) …

Seriously, never eating pizza again

So as you may well know I’ve been eating much cleaner foods, and even fasting for upto 48 hours, and it’s a much healthier lifestyle than before.

I regularly Intermittent Fast eating within a window of only 8 hours every 24 hours.

It’s really easy to do and it forms part of my lifestyle.  Plus the weight is dropping off which is nice (more on that later)

BUT – when I go back to old eating routines such as sugar, carbs, pizza etc – boy does my body tell me off.

I feel dreadful today – bloated – queazy – so back to clean eating.

And no more pizza for a while!

Let’s get to those figures.

So on the 2nd of March I measured both my waist and my weight.

Now I’m still far too embarrassed to say what my waistline was, but my weight was 78kg (I’m 5’7″ tall, or 173cmish) so my weight wasn’t necesarily too bad.

But the spare tire around the midrift was an issue, so that had to go.

So yesterday (before pizza!) I weighed and measured myself again.

Here’s the results

  • My waistline has dropped by 2 and a half inches !
  • My weight has dropped to just 75.2kg from the 78kg.
  • Thats 2.8kg droppedand 2.5″ lost around the waist in a little over 6 weeks.

Now they are fantastic results, and I’m obviously very happy with them.

However being who I am of course, there’s plenty more work to do.

I need another 2 and a half inches to drop to be completely happy (actually it’s more like 3 inches) but that’s fine, we’ll get there.

All that said I’m really rather proud of my weight loss – I’ve been working out almost everyday too,and there’s progression in the work outs too (more dips, pullups per set for example)

Anyway, we’re back to IF today (and may even go OMAD – which is One Meal A Day)

For all those that think breakfast is the best meal of the day, well it’s not.  We don’t need it.

We’ve just been programmed to need it.

When I did an extended fast (37 hours or 48 hours on my last 2) I felt fabulous.

I drink 3 litres of water every day and that keeps me going.

Obviously, I can;t recommend anything to you to try – you need to find your own path.

Get Shredded | Fat Loss For Busy People Day 26

Welcome to Day 26 !

So I’m fasting today, from 9pm last night as it happens and will eat again tomorrow if all goes to plane !

Also, I’m travelling to the UK tonight – so my workout routine will be interrupted so decided to have a good blast of a workout out.

I have a weights bench in the UK, but it’s not setup so will need to do that, but no running machine etc.

I may have to venture outside in the freezing cold for a run which I’m not looking forward to.

Anyway – good workout today, and I’m beating some personals bests since I started.

It’s not much, but wide grip pull ups are the hardest, and in the first week, I could only do one at a time.

Today, I got to 3 on the first set, and then continued at 2 per set until I got down to just single reps per set!

But I managed to get 15 wide grip pull ups done.

Also – DIPS – managed to get my first set of ten done too – first time about 2 weeks ago when I first got the dip machine, it was literally like 4 or 5 and I couldn’t do any more !

So big improvements all round.

My clothes are starting to fit better, and my shoulders have broadened too so my shirts hang better.

If you can;t be bothered doing workouts, just wear a coat hanger for the same look, I reckon you’ll get away with it.

Anyway – DAY 26 COMPLETED !!

Get Shredded | Fat Loss For Busy People Day 25 (Beastie Boys music)

So onto Day 25 (26th March 2018)

All feeling good – had a fabulous workout
– treadmill
– jump rope
-boxing bag work

then onto
– 30 pull ups (close grip)
– 30 barbell curls
– 30 alternate dumbbell curls

Tired my arms big time and really enjoying the workouts.

I had struggled over the weekend to maintain motivation, but got it back today quite easily.

Tomorrow i’m travelling to the UK, so that could be fun – and I’m fasting from 9pm tonight until Wednesday (well- that’s the plan – video on that soon Im sure!)

Welcome to day 24.

No treadmill today, so straight into jump rope.

Then into using the multi-gym which we picked up for just 140 euros – (500 euros new!)

No point in buying new, as it’s only going to get used, right ?

So in 6 months my new piece equipment will be used, so may as well buy it used.

So the home gym is coming along nicely.

Day 24 … Completed !!

Day 22 – and we’re going good !

Thanks for the messages of support, really appreciate them. I’m a little late on editing videos – so will catch up with that and release a few the same day !

But this is what I’m finding difficult : It’s hard when you’re first starting out and the first 20 days is difficult, then at around the 21 day mark, despite getting results – it’s easy to want to give up.

So my workouts have felt a little bit more shaky than usual, and pushing those that ‘boundary condition’ as we call it is hard too.

Anyway – onwards and upwards !!

Hey folks,

so after my day off, I felt soooo much better !

Back into it, but I’ve noticed in the skipping that my arch on my left foot is painful, so less skipping (just 3 mins per day).

Look – if I can do this – then you can too – I’ve got my measurements day on Friday (I do them once a week) – so we can see what results we’re getting from this.

But I can tell you without those measurements that there are differences, including, a much clearer mindset.

Getting physical really helps, and so you should try it too.

And onto day 19 we go.

An enjoyable workout although i’m feeling fatigued at the moment.

– Running
– Skipping
– Bench press

(no boxing as I felt that needed a rest after 19 days of bag work with just one day off)

I also skipped the pull ups today and the barbell curls and just onto bench press.

I’m feeling fatigued. I’m getting the results, and I don’t want to over train.

I’m also having a complete rest for day 20 too.

Then back to it on Thursday the 22nd hopefully feeling refreshed !

Todays workout was a bit later than my usual one, and I think that’s why I felt like I ‘couldn’t be bothered’.

That said, we did a great workout :

– 20 minutes treadmill
– 8 minutes skipping
– 3 minutes boxing bag work

Then
– 10 wide grip pull ups (I managed just one last week!) – and we did them in sets of 2’s and 1’s this time but persisted until we got the 10,

and
– The 3 sets of bent over rows.

All felt much better after the training, compared with how I felt at the start of it (See video!)

How To Lose Weight – Day 17

So, here we are on Day 17.

All feeling good, still feeling the changes happening just 3 weeks in. Remember, this is a lifestyle change for me, not just a weight loss goal.

I’m a lot clearer mentally and in a short sleeve shirt I put on last night, my arms actually filled the sleeves which is a first!

If you want to make a change in your life – be it work, business, love life, etc – then I can honestly say that starting with your health will begin to give you the confidence to do what you need to do.

Really feeling the benefits of this, just 2 weeks in and the inch loss around the waist is happening, along with some weight loss too.

Day 15 was an enjoyable workout, with some good tunage and a bit of variety on the workout.

Yay – 2 weeks done so far.

I’m really starting to feel the differences, in particular I can see some definition on the abdominals on the sides – this clearly being a result of the boxing work.

I’m also reducing my calorie intake somewhat – more on that in a different video in a few weeks time once the results come in!

I’m enjoying the workouts, and just about everything is aching, so it feels like im doing some good work.

So day 13 (Yesterday)

The new piece of equipment is up (pull up station), so made use of it for the first time with some chin ups.

I ran out of battery while filming – so that historic moment is lost in the sands of time I’m sorry to say.

You’ll be glad however, as my chin ups were fairly pitiful.

ANYWAYS !

The work out was :

  • 22 minutes run
  • 20 chin ups
  • 3 x 10 sets of curls.

I ended up editing the video the following morning, so I’m actually a day late on releasing it – but this morning my arms feel like they went through the shredding machine, which means whatever I’m doing is working !

So after a good rest day, we’re back into it.

– 22 Minute run
– Skipping
– Boxing Bag work

then 3 rounds of 20 seconds

– pressups
– flyes
– curls
– kettlebell swings
– situps

A good session today, although it was later than normal which meant it was warmer than usual. This had a knock on effect of not doing the 26 minute run, and doing just 22 minutes.
